  Post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma-related disorders: a comparison of treatment methods, 2026 update Summary The advantages of so-called trauma-focused psychotherapeutic treatment methods for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related disorders are regularly demonstrated. This also applies to comparisons of treatment methods considered fully-fledged, which are conducted in good faith (bona fide) regarding their effectiveness. While these comparisons generally show only minor advantages for trauma-focused methods, these advantages become much clearer when the analysis is limited to a) the methodologically strongest comparative studies, b) individual treatment settings, and c) observed cases.   German language support for foreign-language schoolchildren according to the Austrian School Organization Act 2026   Summary 1. The amendment to Section 8h of the School Organization Act will very likely lead to poorer outcomes in German language support for students with a foreign language background, with detrimental consequences not only for their integration, development opportunities, and employability, but also for related broader societal developments.   2. Successful German language support for students with a foreign language background requires a greater commitment of personnel resources. Therefore, more sustainable funding of these resources will be necessary. This should be achieved by acknowledging the high level of responsibility and workload associated with the teaching profession through appropriate remuneration and by improving working conditions rather than increasing workloads. 3.
